Victoria Eye Center Community Events

Victoria Eye Center hosts the annual Eyes on Our Heroes contest to support and recognize local area first responders. Nominations are received from the community and several deserving individuals are chosen to receive LASIK surgery performed by Dr. George Boozalis. It is an event that allows the public to acknowledge, appreciate, and support first responders who sacrifice to protect and serve our local communities. The goal is for these responders to see 20/20 post LASIK surgery. LASIK will enable these brave men and women to perform their responsibilities lens free so that glasses and contacts do not hinder them in the line of duty.

“The men and women who dedicate their lives to public service carry such a heavy load and responsibility that they shouldn’t have the additional burden of poor vision and corrective lenses.” – Dr. George Boozalis
